The cost of bathroom remodels keeps going higher and higher in 2023 and for a lot of people, it's making it hard to move forward.

Here's one way to save $5,000 - $10,000! Opt for a premade vanity. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of custom cabinetry and there's a level of quality here that will definitely need to be factored in, but it's also a way to get to a beautiful bathroom for less cost. It's also an easy item to upgrade in 5 years to take your space to the next level, if that's what you really want.

Mapleton Bathroom Remodel - Custom Hickory Vanity

Check out this custom Hickory double vanity with countertop towers. This, by far, is the most expensive of the vanities shown. This vanity will cost somewhere around $6-8k unfinished, without a top or sinks, another $1500-$2500 to finish (paint/stain/coat), anywhere from $1,200 to $2,500 for the custom countertop and another $3-500 for sinks, giving you a grand total of $9k - $13,500. That's without any markups from your supplier or general contractor. Is that a little over your budget? Below are some ways to save money on your bathroom remodel.

Premade vanities (like the blue & 6-drawer vanities in the photos) in the same size are going to range from $2-4k without the towers; that can add up to a lot more money in your budget.
